One Earth – In partnership with The Conservation Fund, C&S has offset the annual carbon emissions of its corporate headquarters buildings (including the estimated round-trip commutes of its employees). Through support to The Conservation Fund’s Go Zero program, we are helping to address two of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges: habitat loss and climate change.
C&S Print Shop - Our Vermont-based Print Shop uses eco-friendly soy based inks, and upward of 85% recycled paper stock, 75% of which is produced at mills using renewable energy.
Earth Day Initiatives - Each year our employees engage locally in Earth Day projects. In 2011, employees:
Erie/Buffalo - planted trees
Hatfield -planted 120 trees throughout the community
Keene - participated in Green-Up Keene, Monadnock Earth Festival and paper shredding and recycling efforts
Mauldin - picked up litter, planted trees and flowers
Newburgh - cleaned up the campus and planted trees and flowers
Suffield - planted 44 trees
Westfield - picked up litter along town road
Windsor Locks - planted trees
