C&S: Nourishing Change Strengthening Communities

Keene, NH - C&S Wholesale Grocers is pleased to announce the release of its 2009 Community Involvement Report: C&S: Nourishing Change Strengthening Communities.

"Working here at C&S, with this amazing team, is one of the most rewarding experiences any CEO could ask for," said Rick Cohen, Chairman and CEO. "My sense of pride grows even greater when I see our employees using their talents and skills to make a difference in their communities."

In 2009, the company focused its community involvement on four key areas: Eliminating Hunger, Strengthening Communities, Protecting the Environment and Encouraging Volunteerism. In the "Employees Who Inspire" section of the report, we profile employees across the country who are creating positive change where they live and work.

The report is available online at Community Involvement Reports. First published in 2004, the C&S Community Involvement Report offers an overview of the Company's citizenship commitments (large and small) in the locations where it operates.
