Keene, NH - C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc., teamed with its associates this holiday season to help families and children nationwide via donations of food and gifts.
"Our associates are generous, with many of them donating gifts, warm winter clothes and food to help those in our communities who are less fortunate," said Rick Cohen, CEO and Chairman. "Especially during the holidays, it is wonderful to see the C&S family go the extra mile to offer help."
One of the initiatives at C&S' Corporate Headquarters in Keene, New Hampshire was the assistance offered to 16 families. All departments at C&S pulled together to donate new toys, clothes, or household items. The families had been identified by human services agencies including the Salvation Army and a local women's crisis center. One family received new bicycles. C&S locations in Hatfield, Massachusetts offered similar help and gifts to 6 families.
