Keene, NH - The C&S Charity Golf Outing raised $270,000 at this year's 21st annual event. The amount breaks the record raised at past outings and brings the historical total of donations from the C&S Charity Golf Outing past the $1 million mark for children's cancer organizations.
At banquets following two spectacular days of golf in Vermont and Massachusetts, check presentations were made to the following recipients:
More than 500 C&S customers, vendors and food industry leaders participated in the Outing. They were joined by children and families who received care and support from all three charitable organizations as well as members of the medical teams.
Ron Wright, Co-President of C&S, attended both events and said, "For those of us at C&S, this is one of the best days of the year because it's a day we're able to make a difference in lives of kids with cancer. We're proud to contribute to their treatment, to the researchers who are dedicated to finding a cure, and to make the fun of going to camp possible for seriously ill children. Our customers and vendors generously stepped up to make the C&S Charity Golf Outing a success again and we're grateful."
