Keene, NH - C&S employees banded together across the country for the 7th consecutive year on Make a Difference Day, Saturday October 24, 2009. Make A Difference Day brings millions of Americans together each October to volunteer in their communities.
Reaching out to local communities, the C&S Make a Difference Day initiative inspired more than 500 employees to roll up their sleeves and volunteer in teams for community-based organizations. “Make A Difference Day is a wonderful demonstration of our employees taking action on behalf of our communities,” said Gina Goff, C&S Director of Community Involvement. “It is a great example of neighbors helping neighbors.” Most of this year’s C&S Make A Difference Day projects were in alignment with the company’s social focus of addressing the issue of hunger, and included:
